Hi there, I have a couple of questions regarding the Autotext in Microsoft Word. Firstly i am creating a contract letter (i.e the letter that you recieve when you start a new job, giving you details of salary, job title etc..) The problem is that the letter contains different paragraphs depending on who the letter is going to. What i would like to do is say have several paragraphs that the user can select depending upon who the letter is for. Can this be done? Is there a limitation on the amout of paragraphs/Text that you can use? Any help would be great

Thanks in advance

Nope.

You can select an entire letter, hit Insert-Autotext and give it a unique name (an acronym is great--avoid caps, they're harder to type, use 4 letters/numbers: it's the least you can use to have the little yellow tooltip box pop up and will work automatically by hitting enter). These are stored in normal.dot on the user's PC and can be transferred to another PC by giving them your normal.dot and using the organizer.

You can even put graphics in autotext. You know what you CAN'T put in autotext, of all things? An empty table.... techsupportgirl@home.com
