Hi,

I trying to build a site in a layout similar to Specifically, I like the auto stretch feature. It just expands a little, not to much that it jacks up the graphics and text. Well, I never created a site with autostretch before so I just built a very very rough page in attempt to mimic the structure of sygate.com.
Basically, it looks like a Mondrian painting. I'm just testing the way the tables move in and out. Here's a link Anyhow, my question is this: why is there a white buffer space on the right? It doesn't appear in DW, only when I view it through a browser. I know it's related to the autostretch, but I just can't figure it out. Advice is much appreciated.

Thanks,
DanH

Well, I would check the table widths.
If the table width is 100%, then it should fill the browser window, right? If it isn't and you have subtabled it, then some of the widths may not be percentage and fixed widths.
Don't know, just guessing.

Have you now changed your code? I just looked at your page in IE6 and I didn't get any white space on the right (only the strip where the scroll bar is greyed out).

The little white space on the right is where the scrollbar would go in Netscape if there was one. It is possibly one of the most infuriating things about netscape, because you cannot get a table to stretch across 100% of the screen, and it just looks amateurish. So it isn't really related to autostretch. Derren

Thanks for your comments everyone. I've been incredible busy last couple of days and didn't get a chance to check back here. Anyhow, I noticed Julianne's comment, went back to the site and noticed it wasn't there anymore, either. Go figure? I haven't touched the code. I'm viewing it through the same browser, too. I don't know what to say. Well, again, thanks for everybody's input.
