Autospellcheck available in Lotus Notes???

Is an "auto spellcheck before sending" option for sending messages available in Lotus Notes 4.5.5?If yes, how is it activated?

Not that I know of, but it was the first thing I saw and liked about R5.

If you are not moving to R5 of Notes then you will need to do a little coding to do this. There are plenty of ways to achieve this but the simple method is to edit the Send buttons on ALL forms and add the following code to the top:

@PostedCommand([EditTop]); @PostedCommand([EditNextField]); @PostedCommand([EditNextField]); @PostedCommand([EditNextField]);
@PostedCommand([EditNextField]); @PostedCommand([EditNextField]); @PostedCommand([EditSelectAll]);
@PostedCommand([ToolsSpellCheck]); @PostedCommand([EditDeselectAll]);


Copy the code above as it is. It works. If you need a more advanced version (ie. user ability to turn on/off) then go to the Notes.net web site and search the database for 'spell check'.
