Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to save a PDF file via a link as opposed to opening it on the web page. I want it so IE won't open the page at all, and they just get a save as box or it just downloads directly to their pc with a predisgnated name. The PDFs are located on the server. Sorry if I missed any information, and thank you in advance for your time.

I can't see you achieving all that you want. Maybe you could find a mid-point... maybe a label telling users how to download the PDF on the link... maybe open the link (and thus the PDF) in a new window.

Cheers,
Jeff
