How can I setup a rule to auto-respond to every message sent? I set it up and it runs only once per user. I need it to respond to every e-mail the user sends to our department because this is used as our work order system. We need an auto-respond sent out to confirm we recieved the e-mail and telling them a "work-order" has been initiated by their e-mail.

This is a security feature of GroupWise 6.0 and up. It is meant to prevent looping of auto-replies. Disabling it is not recommended. If a loop is started, it could easily crash your entire server in a matter of seconds.

However, it can be done.

1. In ConsoleOne select the post office in which your user/resource is located.

2. Select the Tools->GroupWise Utilities->Client Options... menu item.

3. Click the Send icon.

4. On the Send Options tab place a checkmark in the
Allow reply rules to loop checkbox near the bottom of the page.

5. Click OK.

This should do what you want. I just want to reiterate that this is a dangerous option to enable.

Hope that helps. Good luck.
