I need to create a .txt file to upload into an accounting software. The 1st field of the .txt file needs to be autonumbered. I have a query to get all the data but need the first field to autonumber. Any suggestions??

Use a subquery to create a ranking field. If you need actual SQL assistance, you will have to provide at least a table name and a field or fields that create a unique combination and sort order of the records.
