autonumber a query

I should know this, but my brain isn't functioning well this morning. And as such I feel like quite a dumbass for asking.

So I have a query that I want to add a COUNT field to the end which autonumbers for all the values in that query.

Any help would be appreciated.

This is a bit much but.

If you make your query a "create table query" and then after it adds the records. Open the table in Design view.
then add and autonumber field to it.
then open the table and it wil add a number automatically.

Then do what ever, print it or...
