Automation Error

I have compiled a report using Crystal Reports 6 which runs OK on my machine but when I have installed it on a clients it is failing with the error message Automation Error. Provided you do not cancel the error message the report is output to a printer but once you cancel the error the application stops. Anyone got any idea about what can be causing this as I can find no reference to it in any of the documentation I have. The report is called from a VB5 program.
