Automating a 2003 storage server backup to external HD

I have a windows 2003 storage server.
I have 2 blank 400 gig extenal usb drives (rotated each week) on which I backup 75 gigs on the storage server every weeknight via ntbackup
Three questions;
1. How do I automate this (I do it manually now) ?
2. How do I make it so when the drive runs out of space, it overwrites.
3. What type of backup is best, to avoid unneccessary wear on drives?

1) Why don't you just configure NTBAckup for scheduled backups (daily, weekly, etc.).

2) I do not think that you can specify that when the drve becomes ~% full, to start overwriting backups (perhaps you can with scripts). Do you plan on rotating the physical drives every night?

How far back do you want to be able to retrieve your backups?

3) What method you use here will effect what you decide for question #2. Incremental backups would probably use the least amount of wear on the drives.
