I've just setup RRAS on a Win2K Server with PPTP passthrough set on my SonicWALL firewall. At home I have a 512Kbit ADSL line and I can create a VPN connection using my Win2K Pro desktop and connect with any problems - but - I want to run my company's login script (or script of my choice) when a VPN connection has been made.

Windows login allows you to choose a VPN connecting through DUN, but I want to achive the same but using my ADSL. Sorry for being thick but I just can't see how it can be done ... I'd appreciate a hand.

Option 1:

Create a batch file:

rasdial yourVPNconnectionName username password
call\your\script

Opena a command window and type 'rasdial /?' for (a little) more info.

Option 2:

Install the CMAK and create a connection with it. Include your script in the Connect Actions and install on the client.

Rasdial is easier, most of the options you need to configure are on the connection properties. CMAK is cleaner, but you will have to build the basic connection, edit some settings, then build again to get everything to work.
