I have some users with 1000's of messages in their inbox, sent or deleted items folders.

I want to help them file them into folders - mainly via training but I want to support them as much as possible.

Anyone got a script to automatically go through each item and file it according to the From name?

You guys were so slow I've written a VB macro to do this.

1) It brings up a popup for the user to choose a folder to process.
2) It creates a folder under this called Filing
3) It steps through each item in the start folder, gets the SenderName, creates a folder called Filing\SenderName and moves the message to it.

Along with my top offenders list (e.g. 8000 mails in their inbox.), I need to encourage people to File and then start deleting!

issue: just migrated mail to exchange so the modification dates have been reset - so nothing will be archived!
