Automatic Updates Services appers blank

Hi, I'm having a problem with a Windows XP Home Ed SP2 computer. I open Internet Explorer with some pages like

http://www.msn.com

and

http://www.hotmail.com.

The computer can connect to those pages but the page open with BIG WORDS and it doesn't look good at all.

Any Suggestions?

Is it just the two sites that you mention or are all sites displaying "Big Words"?

Have a look at -

IE/ View/ Text Size

IE/ Tools/ Internet Options/ and down at the bottom of the page is a tab for Fonts.

Perhaps even clearing your Temporary Internet Files will help?


I can't understand how this relates to your post "Automatic Updates Services appers blank". Is this an error or a heading for another post?

Control Panel, Accessibility, Display, uncheck use High Contrast.

In IE, Tools, Internet Options, Accessibility button at botton, uncheck all boxes.

Exit IE, restart IE and test.

and sorry for the subject, but I had that problem first but I was able to fix it in the middle of my post and then I forgot to change the subject.... thanks again.
