Automatic Logout From Group

Here is the scenario: a user forgets to logout of his/her hunt group, and a call gets distributed to them. The user doesn't answer the call because they have left for the day.

Is there any way to have the IPO automatically log this user out of the group so future calls to the group are not routed back to this extension?
 
If you use "hotdesk" users, they can be logged off after X minutes of inactivity. That's what we've done in the past.

Intresting how do you do you set the time of inactivity.
I thougt you can only set how long its automaticly logged off.

Go to Users>Telephony and the Login Idle Period is used for setting how long the users phone us idle before it is automatically logged off. You have to have Force Login enabled for this to work.

Another way in 3.2 Im about to test is to use the Working Hours Time Profile for that user. Set a time profile for a specific time (8am-5pm) and set that time profile in the Working Hours Time Profile, then in the Out of hours Users Rights, set that to a New User Right you would create that would be similar to a No Users rights.

I'll let you know if that works or not.
 
I now this but this is not the time after inactivity.
It,s just the time you are logged in before it,s automaticly logged you of.

It would be nice if you can say if you don,t answer a call it will put you out of the group, also it would be nice if al agent are logged of the huntgroup will go in Nightservice:)

No, LogIn_Idle_Period is a period of inactivity on the phone before Logout not a total log in time ( the Clue is in the name)

Login Idle Period (secs): Default = 0 (Off), Range = 0 to 99999
If the telephone is not used for this period; the user currently logged in is automatically logged off. This option should be used only in conjunction with Force Login (see below).
