Hi all,

We had a recent power problem which caused our CS1000S to reboot. Once it all returned we found we'd lost a few days worth of changes. The system rebooted on a Wednesday and all changes since the Monday night had been lost? It sounds to me like there some kind of automatic EDD happening every Monday night, anyone know of this? Is there a way of scheduling EDDs?
We have an Option 81C which obviously does this during its overnight routine, however the CS1000S doesn't run one!

Ideally, we like the system to run an EDD every night rather than do manual EDDs in Overlay 43 ourselves.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Add ld 43 to the midnight routine. Do this in ld 17. An example is shown below.

OVLY
SID 974
BKGD 044
PBXH X
TODR 00
DROL 030 032 034 036 038 043 044 045 060 135 137

even the cs1000 will do a edd without 43 in the drol after a change was made.. it does a checksum, any changes and it will edd anyway.. you may have a more serious problem.. when it came up did you try to restore from both backups? when you do the os reads the date on the backup disk before it procedes.. you may have a single bad disk or drive
