hello,
I've been having a wee problema with my manual. I am designing it in Quark 3.3 (old). Whenever I save the file to a rewritable CD, it automatically locks.I am working on an iMac.Help! Also, does anyone know where I could find the EfiColor Processor that is apparently missing in my system folder? I think this is why the colors aren't translating correctly from photoshop to Quark.
Thanks so much!
Trisha

You may have to save the document to your hard disk first, then just put the final version onto cd-rw.

If i remember right, the efiColor was on a seperate floppy disk from quark v3. This might be a problem for newer machines that no longer have floppy disk drives (wasnt back in 1995). Not sure if it can be downloaded from Quarks web site or not.

It has been a long time since i used v3.3, so im not sure that EFI is actually the problem. Does the color just look different on screen? or do they actually print different? Usually you can be confident that what you have in photoshop will print like its supposed to even if Quark renders it differently (Quark only uses a preview to speed up display).
