The receptionist in my company pages frequently to notify associates of meetings and events. We have this one meeting everyday at 9am, and she says the same thing everday at 9am when she pages. Our PBX is limited to paging groups of 32 extensions. Is there a way one can page or somehow send out a pre-recorded announcement to defined paging groups?

In other words, instead of the receptionist manually paging several groups of 32 extensions with the same announcement. Is there a way this can be done automatically or is there a way to send an announcement over a page?

Have you tried creating a speed dial button with
XXXX ~p YYYY where XXXX is your group-page extension and YYYY your integrated announcement extension ?

Um... if the same people have to attend the same meeting at the same time every day, shouldn't they already KNOW they have to show up? What's with the announcement?

Is your business a staffed with teenagers? Buy a whip, and crack it once in a while....
