autocomplete history/purge

My autocomplete feature in explorer after say 30 days turns off and I have to enter everything again. Is there such a thing as automatic autocomplete purge after a certain time? How can I retrieve autocomplete entry history?

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools, then Internet Options. That is where the option for how long to maintain a history is kept.

I've not seen autocomplete turn off after a number of days. If you go to content, autocomplete button (Internet Options) there are options - but can't see timeout associated.
