Hi All,

When I boot up my pc the system tray icon for automatic updates appears and it says 'downloading updates 0%'

It has been in my system tray for a few days now and will not either complete the updates or just go away.

Is there any way I can stop this? I'm not sure what the system process for this is, or if there is one.

It does not appear to be harming my pc/connection/memory etc but its just really annoying having it sitting there.

Many Thanks,
Rich

You can turn the automatic updates off if that is what your asking.

Just go to control panel and look for automatic updates icon.
