We have a W2K server which runs a Java application which we want to run if the machines gets rebooted but doesn't rely on someone logging the machine onto the network.

Can this be done?

set the application up as a service by using SRVANY or something similar then set the service to automatic.

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!

Without someone to logon and start that app i think your best bet is to make that app a service and see if it works for you. There is a utility in the resource kit that can help you make an application into a service.

I have the resource kit, which utility is it?
