Auto select in AutoCAD Mechanical 2006

Hallo,

In AutoCAD mechanical 2006, when u move the cursor on the drawing .. the lines or dimensions will be highligted automatically.

i want to deactivate this option..is there any possibility of how i can do it.

Please can anyone give me the solution.
