Our "Out Of Office AutoReply" only works for internal mail accounts and not external to our network.

Is there an option not turned on somewhere?

Thanks

Under the IMS, and then under Internet Mail/Advanced Options there is a tickbox with "Disable out of office replies to the internet". This is probably enabled.

You definately want to keep this disabled! Even internally using the auto-reply can cause a denial of sevice attack on your own Exchange server (two people auto-replying between them.) If you were to permit this traffic outside you risk a huge bandwidth problem...

Doesn't out of office only respond with the Pre-defined message once per sender ? or is that only internal.

"Out of Office Reply" only gets sent once per sender!! This is designed to avoid D.O.S attacks.

Thanks for the advice everyone but I still have the problem.
If I turn on my "out of office auto reply" then if an internal user e-mails me they get one reply only which is fine.
What the real issue is, is that if an external customer for example e-mails me they get NOTHING, which renders the functionality pretty useless!
Any further suggestions appreciated.

Best Regards,

Andy.

Follow grenage's tip above..this will turn the "Out of Office Reply" on for the internet.
