I have a document that has a field to display the username of the person that has opened the document.
I have found some vb code to run a macro that updates thses fields on opening the document. Trouble is, our corporate computers will not allow macrows to be opened!
I know i can do an update all fields or update individual fields, but can this be automated on startup without use of macros?
We have some documents that work fine this way, when the field is in the header, it refreshes on open, but when the field is elsewhere, it wont refresh on open.
