Auto Refresh Report

Is there a way to auto refresh a report when viewed in the Crystal ActiveX viewer on the client side? Say to refresh every minute. I have tried the rf=1, in the URL, won't work for me. Cant really find a lot of info on the subject..

If you're asking whether you can leave the Active-X up and have it refresh itself, I don't think so.

You could schedule the report to run every 1 minute and adjust the cache accordingly.

Otherwise the user can hit the refresh (lightning bolt) in the report to get a refresh, but adjust the cache.

There is no way to auto refresh a report that is being viewed.

You may be able to accomplish this with some custom scripting (similar to a keep alive script), but you would actually need to make a new request for the report and you would need to be conscious of license usage.

CE will not recognize the rf command in the URL.

Thankx for the quick responses. Guess Ill just create a stored procedure, put it in VB and run a timer.
