Can anyone confirm if the 3.0.59 bug that placed all auto-recorded calls in the users mailbox, regardless of settings, has been resolved in 3.0.69 or any other newer release? I can't find any references to it in any of the release docs I looked at.

Thanks

Morrack, I am using 3.1.56 and when I ticked "Voice Recording Library (Auto)" with both outgoing and incoming "on" the recordings went to the
C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\VRL\ folder, not into the users VM folder

Does anyone know if this feature is working correctly on 3.1.56 apart from the VRL's? Ie if you set the auto recordings to go to a supervisors mailbox, do they actually go there or are they deposited in the users mailbox which is what happens in 3.0.59?

you only tick VRL if you have Contact Store - which puts the wav file temporarily in the VRL dir, and as soon as the call finishes, it pushes it to the Contact Store dir where all the wavs are stored - think you need to untick VRL jml.

Hope this helps

well I got no Contact Store, so I shall try again in the morning and see if and where it puts the files in the manual mode

Morrack,

Much admiration for your great patience a people fail to read your question and brach off with questions of their own.

The question was "Does rerouting of automatic recordings to a mailbox other than the users own mailbox work in versions of 3.0 later other than 3.0(59)? No mention of VRL".

Morrack, I turned off VRL and just left recording on and it was deposited into the users mailbox. My IPO is at 3.1.56, Hope this answers your question

I appreciate your willingness to test that for me jml - but to answer my question, I also need to know if you selected a different mailbox in the drop down menu for auto-recording, or left it at the users extension (default).

Sizbut - why thank you :)

the recorded message followed to whichever mailbox I selected in that drop down,

Excellent! Thank you - I'll upgrade my customer tonight in that case.

Is anyone aware of any serious problems with 3.1.56 I should be watching out for?

3.1 (56) looks good to me, but the ones i upgrade i started with a clean database.

Have over 15 sides with 3.1(56) with two over 100 users and no problems yet.
