auto-number back to zero

Hey,

I just finished my access-database. I use auto-numbering. I finished testing and now I want to reset the auto-numbering back to zero, so I can start filling in the real data.
How do I reset this back to zero???
Sorry... just a beginner at work!!!

hi,

to be able to reset an autonumber field, you have to empty the table and Compact the database (Tools menu) Mal'chik [bigglasses]
