Auto attend then ring?

Hi,

I am new to Compact ICS. I have run into a problem. Is it possible to have the attendant say "Welcome to our company, please hold while i transfer you to an operator" and then ring all three of our phones in the office?

From what i understand this has to be done through CCR. Could someone guide me in the correct direction.

Which voice mail do you have? What software version is the CICS?

If your system has hunt groups then u could take that route. If not then just use answer dn's to make this work. Add the ext. of the reception phone to the other sets.

I have done this with the answer dn's, but there is a 4-5 second wait after the attendant is finished speaking. Is there way to correct this?

No there isn't a way to shorten the delay, the system is waiting for the caller to do something and if they don't they are transfered to the Att DN in the table. You could use the AA in the compact I think it does what you want but it is nothing like the AA on the VM. You will have to dig into the docs.
