We have 2 phone systems linked in an SCN environment, when a caller from site A calls to a phone at site B with internal auto answer activated the call gets connected with no audio either way, they have to put it on hold and then when they unhold the call it is fine. If internal auto answer is not activated the call is heard just fine with no issues, this is a IP 500v2 8.1.(95). Has anyone run into this issue? I will have the customer do a reboot tonight but is this a bug or maybe a network issue? Thanks in advance!

I know R8.1(95) has some SIP issues. It could very well have some SCN related issues as well. I always use R8.1(85) and have much better success in doing so.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

maybe be a bug as critchey say.. Do you direct Media turn on or off.. I have sen some strange thing when it is turned on depending on the customer's network

I do have direct media turned off as that did solve some previous issues, I may downgrade if needed.
