Authorization and Auditor

Hi,

What profile should a user has to login in to auditor .Is it necessary he should be a general supervisor?
What if a person has to create new indicators ,then again is possible only through Auditor or can develop a.rep file publish to corporate documents but then how would he assign it to the appropriate category and sub category and if it is a thin client then as in auditor when you go to add an indicator there is no radio button besides thin client.

I'm totally new to Auditor so it would be really nice if some one could answer my queries.
