Hello,

I have a website that requires authentication to gain access. Access is restricted to user accounts on the Win2003 server. This is great to prevent the public from browsing the site... however internally I would like bypass the authentication requirement.

So I'm wondering if there is a way to pass a UserID and Password in the url? Or if I can bypass the authentication based on the clients ip address.

If either of those ideas aren't possible... is there any other way to bypass authentication?

Thanks,
Lou

you can set the authentication to use Integrated Windows Authentication as well and that should allow domain users from within the network to login without having to type their username and password in. It will automatically pull their windows login information and pass it on.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately there is no Windows domain in this network.
