Authentication for remote users!

I have a small number of remote users who I need to login to exchange2k without logging into the domain. I dont need all the desktop users having to login to exchange as well! How do I setup exchange to force certain users to have to authenticate to login to EXchange 2k?

I need to keep a local offline copy of the mailbox, I thought a pst would be better, with dialup access for sending receiving new mail.

Use Offline folders (OST) instead of PST.
