Hi there,

So, I have a Universal Security group with a bunch of members and an email address attached. Due to a lot of spam reaching this address we have locked it down to accept messages from Authenticated Users only.

So, I also have a web form that I want to send mails to this address but of course it will not accept them. Web forms do not allow domain authentication?!?

Can I create an account with the same e mail address used in my web form?

Does that make sense?

Create an AD contact for the SMTP address that these messages come from.
Change your restriction to remove the "Authenticated users only" to a group that includes the contact you just created. Chances are that you already have a group that contains all the users in your organisation. (Who doesn't have an "all@company" type DG?)
