AUT Codes and CDP

I recently acquired another Meridian where they are using AUT codes. It has been a long time since I had used AUT codes. I need to setup CDP DSC's that should not be prompted for AUT codes. I am being told that they are prompted for AUT codes when dialing long distance and mobile numbers. Local calls are not prompted.

I know all of the different aspects of BARS/NARS, but can't figure out what combination of things are blocking my CDP calls. I can provide configs as needed.

are you being promted for AUTH codes after the digits being dialled?

why not build a new RLI pointing to which ever route for your CDP's with a low NCOS to allow all calls?

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder

Results in fast busy. I have tried different FRL's on the route as well.

FRL on the RLI is already set to 0. Route 1 has a TARG of 1. I can post a printout of the AUB and AUT tables if it will help.

I am able to make my CDP calls work if I dial #6 + auth code + CDP. I need for this to work without using auth codes.

All sets have TGAR 0 and NCOS of 0. All auth codes are assigned class of 004. CLAS 004 shows COS=TLD, TGAR=1, NCOS=4.

CDP is used to dial 5 digits and is then translated to the full number which in this case is all International numbers.

frl 1 1
frl 2 2
frl 3 3
frl 4 4
frl 5 5
frl 6 6
frl 7 7

so far your on the right track, one more place to check

on that rlb, (my international) you need ncos 5 due to line
FRL 5 to make the call.. the mfrl 5 tell the switch to give auth tone to any ncos lower then 5.. so if i dial international from my ncos 3 set, i get , e auth code tone, if my auth code is a class that resets my ncos to 5 or greater.. call goes through..

so i would go to 90 prt,0,net,ac1,nxx, XXX=to any local number.. then in 86, prt,0,rlb xxx with xxx=to the rli for the local nxx..

you will usually see that set to frl 1,, so add a new rlb pointed to your tie route.. frl 1 mfrl return, then as you add dsc's point them to the new rlb..

Things to try - stop at the first one that works :):

Set the RLI 45 ISET to "1"

Set a phone to UNR or CTD (I'd bet they are TLD today?)

Don't know why this should matter, but what if you set the FLEN to X (or maybe it must be 0 - can't remember).

Other ideas - make the 25930 an LSC or an TSC to see if that effects a change.

For some reason, this is the first time that I ever saw an RLI not having the MFRL prompt. What is missing that I don't have this prompt?

Also, the PBX in question is not in the states so NXX is not being used, only SPN.

last time i looked ohio was not a third world nation.. but your right.. very strange dial plan..

click his name them hover over the ', shows loc
