My company has about 20 outside sales reps that have their offices all across the country. We have an extension set up in our main office for each of them. When a call comes into the switchboard, it can be forwarded to their 4 digit extension. I have a coverage path set up for each of them so that all calls are forwarded to their office or cell phone. The call path is set up to direct the call back to their voicemail box if it is not answered at their office. This was set up before all of our sales reps had their own voicemail accounts. I plan on modifying the coverage path so that calls will not bounce back to their voicemail account at the main office. However, even though they don't need the voicemail account in the main office I would like to keep it active so their name recording can be heard when someone uses the dial by last name directory. Now for my question. Is there any way I can set up their voicemail account so it will not take messages? I do not want them to have to check two voicemail accounts for obvious reasons. Any input or suggestions are appreciated.
