Audix Question

Hi,

maybe somone know,if there is an option while call came from extension with busy coverage to the audix and hearing the Busy greeting, i want to add option to the caller to prees 1 to hold for this extension, or 2 to leave message or 3 to the operator.

any idea ??

If it is a Intuity or other non octel Avaya voice mail, u could make the mailbox an autoattendant, then on the 3rd page u could make 'transfer to the operator'(u would use a listed directory # or some other extension that leads to the operator if it is a attendant console, don't ever use the extension of the operator for anything of this sort), or "callanswer" for the extension to leave a message, or transfer back to a hunt group that u make. The only way that I know to make it stay on the extension is to have the extension part of a hunt group that with a cue to wait until the station comes available. I have never seen someone do that, but don't see why it shouldn't work.
