Does anyone have experience of both Audix and Octel Aria? Are they similar in look and feel? Do they have similar commends?

I am looking at a job that requires support for Octel. I have experience of Audix. Does it translate? How easy/difficult is Octel?

Since Octel is old and the client are still happy to keep it, I am guessing that it is fairly robust and wouldn't be a huge headache to support... unless you know different!

Any information would be helpful.

Cheers,

Ronster

2 completely different interfaces. basic vmail setups are as easy or easier in octel but "bulletin" stuff and "auto-attds" are kind of a pain since they require programming through the SAT AND through a telephone interface to set them up. You cannot bring up an auto-attd in the SAT like audix and see the 10 presses. You need to dial into the mailbox, go through the admin prompts, then Octel SPEAKS to you telling you where each press goes. Takes 5 minutes to map it out instead of 5 seconds.
