hi all,

i have an audix 4.0 system on my location A.
Location B needs Subscribers, but there isn´t an audix system. i want to use the system on location A but i dont have a least line between them. For stations i must create a vdn with a vector "route to", put it in to a cov path and the cov path in the station form. Is there an easyer way .... ?

thx callmaster

You need DCS to make the centralized voice mail work. the way you are doing it now gives no transparency or control for the mailboxes or users. You have to make sure that the Audix is capable to handle DCS.

What you have in place right know is difficult because there is no link b/w the locations. You must have a link b/w them. With a digital link (E1 or T1), you can implement DCS where the Audix can serve both locations or alternatively with an E&M link (Analog), you can activate remote call coverage and UDP feature that will allow the users in the other location to be covered by the Audix.

i have an ip connection b/w the locations and i use for both sides "intuity message manager". it works fine ... my problem is the complicated routing for stations. i dont want to create many vdn´s and cov pathes to get mailboxes for the stations on location b. any idea to solve the problem ?
