Hi there,
Equipment:
CS1000 Release 6.0 (fully patched)
AudioCodes MediaPack MP-114 SIP 4FXS
Problem:
Calls placed on the CS1000 to the AudioCodes box fail after 20secs.
Calls placed on the AudioCodes box work fine, forever!
I have configured the AudioCodes device and managed to get it to use dynaminc SIP registration.
Audio path is working in both directions (had major trouble with Media Security so that is disabled).
Call Placed by AudioCodes produce the following SIP:
AC -> CS1000 Request: INVITE
CS1000 -> AC Status: 100 Trying
CS1000 -> AC Status: 180 Ringing
AC -> CS1000 Request: PRACK
CS1000 -> AC Status: 200 OK (to PRACK)
CS1000 -> AC Status: 200 OK (to INVITE)
AC -> CS1000 Request: ACK
(Call Established OK and does not fail after 20 seconds)
AC -> CS1000 Request: BYE
CS1000 -> AC Status: 200 OK (to BYE)
Calls Placed by the CS1000 produce the following SIP:
CS1000 -> AC Request: INVITE
AC -> CS1000 Status: 100 Trying
AC -> CS1000 Status: 180 Ringing
CS1000 -> AC Request: PRACK
AC -> CS1000 Status: 200 OK (to PRACK)
AC -> CS1000 Status: 200 OK (to INVITE)
CS1000 -> AC Request: ACK
CS1000 -> AC Request: OPTIONS
CS1000 -> AC Request: OPTIONS
CS1000 -> AC Request: OPTIONS
CS1000 -> AC Request: OPTIONS
(Call establishes OK but disconnects after 20 seconds)
AC -> CS1000 Request: BYE
CS1000 -> AC Status: 200 OK
The MAJOR difference here is the OPTIONS messages produced by the CS1000.
Does anyone know what these messages are for?
Are these messages the cause of the call failing? (Are they not being acked of something)
Please please PLEASE can you help???
Many thanks,
Finn
