How to create metric using Date attribute with a filter(like trans type =10 etc)

Could you submit an example of what you are looking for? I'm not following the request. It sounds like you might want a metric on a report, that has a filter composed of two different filters, one for date(s), and one for a transaction type. But that might not be what you want.
