I have Audix doing my attendant message for a 1-800 number. When the caller chooses option 1, Audix _transfers_ the call to the extension specified (Bob, 4121), and then Bob's phone rings. But when Bob is using line 1 on his phone, instead of going to line 2, Audix says the line is busy and sends the caller back to the attendant message. Is there a way to tell Audix that it should go to Bob's voicemail if the line is busy, or do I need to change something on the Definity so that Bob's second line will ring if he's using the first (instead of giving a busy signal, which is what happens when calling Bob directly)? If so, how?

What kind of phone does Bob have and how many line appearances?

In the future everything will work...

If bob only has two lines appearances and u have "restrict last appearance" on the second page of his station, then u will always get busy,(that is if on the third page of "display system features" on the audix says "no cover zero") If u have "cover zero" then it will go down his cover path. U can't make the audix try and call him again.

That was it orypecos, you rock! I'll never forget "restrict last appearance" after this. I was quite confused because all my users have that set to Y, but the reason some users don't have the issue in question is that they have more than two lines marked call-appr.

I your users have three call-appr lines, the third will always go to voicemail. This allows for no busy tones and a open line. Make sure you thank Ory for his info.

In the future everything will work...
