Hey,

strange little problem here. When my boss sends out mails with attachments, he also sends a copy to his secretary.
Now, the secretary receives the attachment, but all the other recepients don't. Now the secretary always needs to forward the attachment to all the other recepients, and she's getting a bit pissed of :-)

Any ideas on what could cause this?

Is the attachment being sent out in RTF to the contacts? RTF is what usually causes this problem.

I don't think you got my question. RTF (Rich Text Format) is one of the formats that Outlook can put the mail in. You can specify in Outlook to send mail in RTF format or HTML or plain text. But you can also specify for Contacts to receive mail in RTF format in the contact properties. Unless they are using Outlook as well you don't want to use RTF format because it is a proprietary format to Outlook.

You should make sure that RTF is not being used as the default mail format and that properties of the contacts in question are also not specified to use RTF.

I'm curious how the format of the message body has any affect on attachments to said message? And RTF is a common format, in fact, it was the best format to use to exchange information cross platform prior to PDF's.
