I have created an application for our test lab. The last bit is to provide a way for them to attach either an excel worksheet or word doc to a form in a tab control. The attachment could have pictures and data. My guys are great techs, but not PC literate, so what do you think is the easiest way to provide this function for them?
Thanks,
Tom

Maybe start off with an Unbound Object Frame and go from there. It's located on the tool bar near the command button. HTH

I tried to have patience but it took to long! :) -DW

Do you want these available as OLE objects with full functionality (ie link/embed of the original) file, or do want it to be an attachment as you mentioned, by which I think you mean a downloaded copy of the original file kind of like the way MS Outlook handles it?

What kind of method are you looking for?

thanks for the quick response.
I just had a meeting and both situations are now true. One is a read only and the other I will have to open one of several original documents stored in one folder on the network, create copies for data entry, save them and store the new links in a table.

So what's your best guess.

Try jadams0173 suggestion first - if that won't get it, let us know. Incidentally, it is probably best to store a path to the file rather than the actual file itself since that can really bloat things quickly.
