Hi, I'm looking at getting an auto loader to replace my backup to disk regime at the moment but would like to know how it will work etc before we splash out on loads of cash only to find out that it doesn't do what i want.
I have 3 servers, 2 file and 1 exchange, 200GB of data and i use BE 9.1.
So, how do auto loaders work? i want to be able to stick in 8 tapes, let backup exec do my weekly backups (Full backup every night), and then on monday, i'll stick in 8 new tapes and let the cycle continue. I'm looking into using a sony AIT-3 desktop autoloader.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
