I've only until recently started to experience problems with this card and my pc.

what's happening is that when my pc is booting up and it gets to the part where i would pick what user i want in XP Pro it dies. there is no picture at all and the monitor goes into standby mode.

It's tempremental when it does this. somestimes it does and sometimes it don't. So there is no pattern to it either.

However my borther did load another graphic driver a while ago it was to overclock it a bit. (it was his card and i took it on when he got a new one) i think this is the problem, however i don't want to rollback the pc but i can't uninstall in safe mode.

has anyone got an idea why the driver keeps droppin out before it gets to the main part of windows?

It might be trying to use the tv-out port as the primary display, which does blank the monitor just before the user select screen.

Boot up in VGA mode, remove the video driver, and attempt a re-install of the drivers after rebooting.
