ATHLON64 XP 3400+ clock speed?

I just bought a athlon 64 3400+ and a msi neo platinum mobo, i was under the impression the 3400+ ran at 2.2ghz but as standard after installing its running at 2.4ghz 12x200 instead of 11x200.
Question is cpu temp is a stable 52 under load... do i wanna go clock it down to 11x 2.2gz or have i simply got a new chip revision that runs at 2.4ghz??????

AMD played around with the cache sizes on their chips - check what L2 cache size you have. The 2.2GHz version of the 3400+ has 1MB, your chip may have just 512KB.

Yup , my versions only got the 512k cache guess they bumped up the clockspeed to compensate
