Is there any documentation on how to install an ATA, how do I assign a line to the ATA?

treat the ATA as if it was a 7100 phone. you will find some items in regular installers guide on the terminals and sets but for the most part just think of it as a 7100 and you should have no problems
keep 2 intercom keys on it.
