At RunTime report is blank.

Excuse me, my english is very bad. I try to describe my problem better. I install my program on a client pc and it runs perfectly for 10 - 15 days, the report displayed all datas but then after 15 days the report of my app was white. only the grid was displayed. Now, if I select the field that I can't see, copy and then paste into MSWord, I see the field content in MSWord. This is not a problem of BackColor that is not the same of the ForeColor of the fields. Al dlls are installed and registered on the client server. I really can't know why the report in black. Can you understand me?!?

When you say you can "copy and then paste into MSWord", I don't understand what you are doing....I cannot copy the contents of a field in the the Preview mode and paste it into MSWord??
Are you in design mode or Preview mode when you are having this problem??

I have the same problem. I have designed a VB project that calls Crystal Reports, and displays the bar charts in the viewer. On my computer, where VB and Crystal are both installed, there is no problem. But when I "package and distribute" the project and install on another computer that does not have VB or Crystal installed, all parts of the program work fine, except when displaying bar charts in the viewer on the client machine. Regular reports (with no charts) view with no problem - just the bar charts, in my case. It's interesting that the colour issue has been brought up. I am more concerned with the DLL files though. Any thoughts?

I believe he was trying to say he did not understand why the report was blank instead of black. Mattia, you said you are sure that it is not a problem of both the forground and background colors being the same? It almost sounds like that to me. If you can select the information to copy it, the it is there, but not visible due to color or some other property.

Ferlin,....that makes sense (Black vs Blank)
Well you can control the color of the text conditionally in CR8...maybe CR7.....perhaps something is wrong there if he is controling the text color....seem weird to control it for evrything though....maybe somehow his defaults changed for text color....should check that too, I guess

Hi!
I can't resolve my problem. At the design time the report is perfect because is on my machine where the project is but in preview mode the report is white, is not the same PC ovviusly. In this pc (Client) all the dlls necessary at runtime for Crystal Report are registered. Now I really can't know why the report is white.

johnboy99, I face the same problem with yours. My chart is shown in the CR Designer but not when published in web.
It shows a blank white box which should be the chart.
I've check the dll for charting (sscsdk32.dll) and change the line User47 in crpe32.dep file as suggested.
Btw, I'm using CR7, Win2K Server and calling through Web Report Server.
Did you solve the problem?
