ASUS P4S533 motherboard Bios Flash

I have a ASUS P4S533 with a P4 1.3(overclocked to 1.8). I am using 2 512 meg sticks of DDR 2700 333 memory. The current BIOS flash from ASUS will bump it to a possible P4 2.8 MHz.

Has anyone out there done this? Specifically, if flashed to new BIOS what implications are there for using currrent memory with new CPU-(ie, 333 vs 533)Performance hits, etc
