Phone Manager Tried them all.

Problem is when you try an assisted transfer, you have to hit transfer, extension number, pick the call back up hit transfer, extension number, transfer and the call goes through.

You can do blind transfers and voicemail just fine. Also you can do an assisted transfer via the speed dials if they are all setup.

I have no clue.

asisted transfer works the same as a normal transfer
the only difference is that you wait till the called one pickup

transfer -> ext -> transfer (normal transfer)
transfer -> ext wait till answered -> transfer

I think this may be kind of relating to a bug i have raised to day on the latest 3.2

If you recieve a call in PM then double click on a speed dial icon to transfer it it puts the call on hold and doesnt ring the person you are trying to transfer to.

If you retrieve the call and try again it goes through ok.

I have been told that this is not a bug but an intentional change of operation. Even though the documentation says different!

There is a a CQ35031 for this... Which reads like Avaya aim to change the documentation.

Please can you see what is going on?

Ooops, misread that one! My issue relates to a transfer from phone manager... Documentation says that you can complete a transfer by hanging up the handset, clicking the complete transfer button in PM or pressin "end" in PM. However, if you hangup the leg of the call between you and the transfer destination drops and the original call re mains on hold. This behaviour is apparently now by design and the the documentation has not caught up...
