Howdy folks, I have a windows 2000 server with a Quantum Value loader SDLT 320 drive. It has 8 slots and 1 drive, When I look at the media sets in veritas I can see all 8 tapes listed and labeled. However I can't figure out how to assign a day of the week to a slot. Ex. use Slot 1 on monday, use slot 2 on tuesday...etc. When I go to job setup I can select a Media Set and can select the media set but i dont see any options for assigning which media to use on what day? I hope im making sense here,

Thanks!

Backup software is Veritas Backup Exec 9.1

I just purcahsed and installed a Quantum Valueloader SDLT320 on a Windows 2000 server sp4, and using Veritas Backup Exec 9.1. I can't see the loader as a Robotic Lib.
SCSI Host is Adaptec 29160.

It works as a stand-alone. I ran the Veritas Config wizard, but it sees it as a stand-alone.

I set the 29160 ID for loader and driver to multi-LUN.

Do you have any suggestions?

Change the emulation mode on the library to EXB-210. You will have to power down everything and it should work after

Are you using the Veritas driver for the Valueloader? The Quantum driver for the library will not work correctly with Veritas.

Also the SCSI ID of the library should be 1 lower then the SCSI ID of the actual drive. Use SCSI ID 3 for the loader and 4 for the Drive and move other devices already using these IDS to other numbers

After you install the drivers reboot
