I am a very basic MS Project 2007 user and I am struggling to get an answer to my question, I hope that someone here will be kind enough to help me.
I have a single task and I would like to assign multiple resources. The task is a field assignment for our technicians and the work will be divided up into shifts. For example, a single task can last for a couple of months but the technicians will work in 5-10 day shifts for those two months. The duration and brief overlap will vary based on availability/need.
Is there any way I can schedule the technicians in small duration "chunks" over the entire duration of the task? All of what I have found assigns a resource for a certain percentage over the entire duration, and I want to keep track of who will be scheduled for the smaller shifts through the months.
Thank you in advance for any help you could provide.
